- ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆The staff at the post office is friendly enough, and try to be helpful, but the contractors who deliver mail will NOT deliver packages. Our mailbox is less than 50 meters from our door, line of sight, and I frequently get email notifications in the morning saying that our package couldn't be delivered because nobody was home (even though I've been home). Then, several hours later the mail delivery comes by and puts the slip in the box saying we have to pick it up at the post office. Just last week, I drove all the way down to the post office to pick up a box, and they said they couldn't find it. They found it a day later but would not even redeliver, forcing me to drive back down there for the box. Nobody seems to really care that the contractors don't do their job.By Don Morton, July 21, 2017
